Were you lucky enough to go to the first ever Beer Festival this Autumn at Devonport Guildhall on Saturday 4th October?
During the 12 hour event hundreds turned out on the day to drink sensibly away watching the sunset rise in the distance.
Many businesses were present to offer the public there beer, ale or cider; Hunters Brewery, South Hams Brewery and New Lion Brewery were to name a few that had made the trip to Devonport from afar.
Devonport Guildhall and Summerskills Brewery had teamed up to deliver locally made beers, ales and cider.
The Guildhall’s own artisan bakery, Column Bakehouse, served there delicious homemade cakes and bread until 10pm on the Saturday evening.
The day was made complete from Plymouth blues star Vince Lee, Russell Sinclair and the Smokin' Locos took to the stage for the day and evening entertainment.
The event was a huge success and we can’t wait until the next Festival here at Devonport Guildhall.
